Dearest friends, I hope this finds you all well. An update: So far this semester I have earned an A in my creative writing class (when I declared myself an English major they agreed to allow me to take more English classes. Yay!). My English professor (and renowned fiction writer James Tipton and author of Annette Vallon) declared that my poetry was awesome or as he so eloquently put it, “I like your use of sensuous imagery to give a moment and a scene yet also to suggest more than itself—economy of language; also good feeling for sounds, arriving at subtle epiphanies.” It’s enough to make a person glow. It is official. Lukasz has asked me to marry him. He offically asked me on May 31st, 2008 in PARIS, FRANCE! We have yet to set a date, let alone talk about it further because we are still in the middle of our travels. I am, to say the least, completely at a lack for words.
